Automobile Sweepstakes andCommercials ~ By Kathleen Akua R, The Angel Power Emporium,
Hey, I would appreciate us having a new hybrid car/truck (The most green-made brand), but we live the real America, so don't see it happening!!! Please consider my thoughts. We live in an area of the state with poverty-rates, so little gainful employment nearby, the villages and churches don't have enough funds to manage themselves, and, the roads are not just curved & hilly, they're mostly crumbled, bumpy, muddy, gravelly.
Ours autos used and cost between $50 to $5,000. They speedily become unreliable transportation which soaks up money and extra hours. NO one can guarantee how long each may last! I've seen them run between 1/10th a mile to as long as 5 years (if very lucky). Therefore, as a people too poor to do so, we have buy cars more often, and, its all those times more in which we're also for insurance, titles, plates, et al, on every exchange.
IMAGINE~~~ available jobs with REAL wages and BENEFITS! And the jobs are environmentally aware & ethical -- even creating sustainable economies using sustainable "earth matter" & recycling nearly EVERYTHING & for products/services which are actively "humankind-friendly" and "global-friendly"!!
GIVING poor people that type of transportation would be an INVESTMENT in a better quality-of-life ~ for ALL!!
I could continue -- with huge lists of other roadblocks in our systems, which CAUSE continued poverty, plus the quickly increasing loss of respectable stability within the global community.
YES, a person has to care to invest in themselves in order to experience successes, however, people cannot just "pull themselves up by their boot straps" -- they at least need some ol' boots & maybe even whole, although weathered-thin, straps. People rarely obtain gainful employment if they show up the interview in just their old socks~~~ I've experienced poverty from "both sides of the desk" & from the plethora of aspects involved, so I have learned the equivalent of a higher-level degree in Life & Poverty, plus Advocacy communications!!
Therefore, I am asking ALL presidential candidates, plus all other politicians, corporations, industries, institutions, philanthropists, experts, and, all fellow-Earth-mates:
1. WHY not listen to those involved, before deciding how their life should work out, and, truly eradicate much poverty by INVESTING in people?
2. HOW can people have extensive finances, yet no conscience to share with humans in need, and, while owning outrageously expensive "toys" when children, veterans, and MANY others can barely eke by a life?
3. WHO is truthfully going to do, ALL they're able, things that really do help others improve their quality-of-life while on this earth?
